**SUNNY DEOL : The current top star of bollywood,Sunny scored back-to-back big hits with Border and Ziddi. Though the year ended on a bad note with utter-flop Qahar. 

**SHAH RUKH KHAN : The year started with huge debacle Koyla but SRK bounced back,now almost in feel-good as goody-gumdrops urbane yuppie, scored big hit in Dil Toh Pagal Hai (DTPH) and Pardes. Yes boss saw him portray the urban employee and is an average success. 

**SALMAN KHAN : Salman essayed a dual role in Judwaa, which is a big hit, he also acted in his brother's Auzaar and in a brief cameo in Deewana Mastana, the latter a winner. 

**AAMIR KHAN : Aamir delivered yet another major hit with Ishq , establishing a hat-trick of hits, one each for three consecutive year. 

**GOVINDA   : The Govinda-David Dhawan magic worked yet again with Hero No.1 and Deewana Mastana though his other starrers Agnichakra and Do Aankhen Barah Haath are big flops.

**ANIL KAPOOR : Anil was completely written-off with back-to-back flops. Now, with back-to-back hits in form of Judaai, Virasat and Deewana Mastana, Anil have got a new leash in his career. 

**SUNIL SHETTY : With hits like Bhai and Border , Sunil have again restructured his position among the hottest star of bollywood

**AJAY DEVGAN : The year started on a sad note with Itihaas,with Ishq Ajay again bounced backed. 

**BOBBY DEOL : With just minor hit Barsaat behind him. The super duper success of Gupt has established Bobby among the top sellable heroes of bollywood. 

**NANA PATEKAR : Yeshwant opened to an fantastic initial which proved to be a saving grace for Nana.
